Do you realize that Terry Schiavo is likely to be murdered by her husband as sanctioned by the government? She is not in a vegetative state, as many doctors and nurses and her parents will attest. Look at the picture of Terry in this story - is that "vegetative"??? She is the perfect example of the helpless and the weak - that we are supposed to protect. And do you know what one of the primary defenses for killing her is??? The "Right To Privacy" - a right CREATED by the Supreme Court for none other than the purpose of forcing a state government to allow women to take birth control, which led to what? The "right" to ... oh yes... an ABORTION - the killing of the most innocent of people. Since 1980 that right has been explicit in the Florida state constitution.She is going to be murdered because of our frigging determination not to be judged by anyone for anything.........

Well, this country is so close to that now and I have to reiterate: If we murder this woman by starvation by court order, I am sorry but I simply cannot believe that God will continue to bless us or even to 'let us be'.

I cannot imagine the pain we put God through letting this guy, Michael Schiavo, who already has a woman he's living with and has fathered two children with, whose motives are entirely suspect, claim that he remembers some old reference she made to 'not wanting to live in those conditions' and then using that as an excuse to STARVE HER TO DEATH. How utterly sick, twisted, disgusting, and barbaric do we have to be??? Her 'husband' was out on TV claiming that it is painless and natural. Let me think... what if we'd used STARVATION to get information out of the people at Abu Ghraib??? What do you suppose the headlines would be about? Would the television shows be describing how painless and natural it is for prisoners to starve???????

Thank God - THANK GOD some of our polititicians are doing whatever they can to save the life of this woman.
